The Challenge

Leading Edge commissioned a suite of websites to keep its customer base up to date on upcoming and new releases. Leading Edge Video, Leading Edge Music and Leading Edge Books were to be redeveloped by SMG.

The Process

People looking things up online don’t want to muck around, they want answers fast—so we built Leading Edge a “Find Near Me” feature so customers can quickly and easily locate their nearest store. We also designed the websites so each store can customise its landing page while the major content is dynamically updated from Leading Edge’s asset library with new movies for rent or purchase updated automatically.

The Outcome

The websites don’t require any additional work from Leading Edge employees, thanks to a clever bit of coding that does all the heavy lifting for them. With automatic updates keeping everyone plugged in and up to speed on what’s coming out and when, Leading Edge staff have more time to devote to the things they love, like keeping their customers happy.
