Marcus Padley is a stockbroker who has been advising institutional and private clients for more than 27 years. He currently drives a desk at stockbroker Patersons Securities. Born in Yorkshire, England, he came to Australia in 1994, as “the souvenir of my wife Emma’s five-year visit to London”. For the past 11 years, he has produced a daily online stockmarket newsletter, Marcus Today, emailed daily to a subscriber base of many thousands. Padley also writes for The Age and the Sydney Morning Herald and is an expert analyst on ABC’s Inside Business and ABC’s Lateline Business. His financial insights feature daily on ABC Radio 774 in Melbourne.
