Overview
For the best part of its first 100 years, AFL football was something of a closed shop when it came to recording statistics and history. Clubs and the media were fed a few basics stats but the general public was devoid of any meaningful information.
Fast forward to the 21st century and it’s a completely different story. Football fans now have an insatiable appetite for statistics and history – and one of the best ways to satisfy that hunger is via the AFL Record Season Guide.
The AFL's official statistical history book has all the statistics and history of the game dating back to the very first match in 1858. And it covers everything you need to know about AFL football since the League started in 1897, including a detailed look at every draft.
