Images Live! is a new and exciting addition to the website. If you're unsure what to search for, unsure where the best shots are housed, or if you want to just recline and let the images come to you, our images site now hands them to you on a platter. For the first time, you can view the latest AFL match, training session or AFL event as a slide show. Simply choose the image collection you wish to view from the homepage, then click the Images Live! icon to view the selection as a slide show. Navigate your way through the collection by using the arrows on either side of the main frame and for more details about the photos, place your arrow in the frame. Capturing the moments
Timing, patience and more often than not being in the right place at the right time provides us with the opportunity to capture special moments.
The 2008 AFL season has made for many player milestones and moments of grandeur. Now that the finals have begun the intensity is lifted both on the field and among the photographers. Before a finals match, there are always butterflies in the belly as the level of emotion is heightened. The Grand Final is the pinnacle of the AFL year. Images illustrate the best of this competition, and it is at the top of my list to photograph.
There are many determining factors in getting that special shot. We are continually lured to the game by the possibility of getting that one special moment that happens in a split second. The mark of the year, the emotion of winning, and the dejection of losing are three aspects of a game that provide for spectacular still imagery.

A feature article on-well known horse dentist, Mark Burnell, the photographer was required to capture Burnell going about his day to day activities as well as capturing a strong sense of his character.
Sean brings fourteen years of photographic experience to The Slattery Media Group, having been a senior photographer at leading photographic agencies in Melbourne since 2000. Sean can boast coordinating photography for the Australian Football League, Tennis Australia, Swimming Australia, the Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games among his many achievements. Highlight events include the Olympic Games; Commonwealth Games; Pan Pacific Swimming Championships; AFL Season and Grand Final; Australian Open Tennis; Formula 1 Grand Prix and 500cc Motorbike Grand Prix. His comprehensive knowledge of the photographic industry and familiarity of state of the art technology make him an excellent leader of the team.
